We transform our living room into the local library. I take one couch, Carol takes another and Tiffany and Nancy man the dining table (Jeannette and Teruyo keeping their beds warm). Amid comments of "Isn't this nice, guys?" and "Let's all apply for this! And this! And this..." we each settle into our respective spaces and concentrate, for some time, on the articles in front of us. What a lovely college life, in the bright Pink House.
