July 28, 2009.

今晚我一个好朋友变成我的甘姐了。他说他感觉到我对未来的不安静；就顺便拿出了几本书，一个笔记本，一支笔，全部都交给我了，说他要帮我想想（explore) 我毕业后的选择，免得我毕业了就无助。我们总共花了一个半小时想着，写着，讨论着我的不安，我的烦恼，我的欲望。到了晚上十一点他就送我回家，说我们下个礼拜见面之前一定要读完书，发好email给某某人。

这些相片里的袋子是那位朋友送我的，让我方便的把那三本书回家。我把书摆好了，把袋子放在它后面，希望每天早上看到时会让我想起他，对明天更有乐观的看法。

Busy day at work, am getting more responsibility and maybe climbing the intern corporate ladder? And falling down the BART station stairs.


I coordinate intern lunches every Thursday; last time we ate at an art gallery, this week we ate at Cafe Boudin on Market. This is one of the interns, Christa, who I think looks like my sister. We get coffee and complain (jokingly) together.

Lunch celebration for Shirley and 黄太 (Mrs. Wong)'s birthdays. Two hour lunch. We also had a two hour discussion on noise & compromises tonight at our house meeting. I guess things happen in twos sometimes.


Back to the pictures. The first shows Yvonne, the dietician, laughing (in white), then Lena, the nurse who teaches classes, leaning on her arm, and then Shirley, the graphic designer, staring off 发呆-ing happily.


Then it's two volunteers (the middle one is 黄太) and Cecilia, the secretary and go-to-person.

Finally it's my supervisor, Joyce, then Angela the Executive Director, and Yvonne and Lena again.


What you don't see is me and Crystal sitting to the side and giggling to ourselves-- stuffing our faces too, of course...
